Samara... newsletter of the Millennium Seed Bank Partnership

Last week I reblogged an excellent post from the Millennium Seedbank Blog here . This week I'm sharing the MSB Newsletter SAMARA ... available online and in several languages going back over a number of years. With partnerships all around the world articles in this newsletter cover a lot of ground and make for interesting reading... and not just for specialists necessarily.

Inside the British Pavilion at the Expo in China last year... seeds came from the Millennium Seed Bank Project where I am headed in October for an informal 3 week Residency.

On Saturday I posted out the Spring Edition of my E-news Bulletin...
read it here   Spring Update: E-news
It has lots of news on the homage to the Seed project in recent months and what's coming up. If anyone's interested in the 'colours of nature 'workshops then I will be doing an all-day one later this year... December 3rd ...and there's plenty planned for 2012 that you can read about at this newsletter!

An interesting day was spent with year 6 students - 12 & 13 yr olds redesigning our approach
to foods systems and how we think about this part of our life. Great day... loved this contribution.
